“Uproariously funny, deeply moving, enthralling theater. Stephen Belber’s MATCH has great beauty and tenderness, and abounds in wit.” (NY Daily News)

A witty satire of the movie business. Though it is biting and cruelly critical, it is also very funny – and that’s probably why it ran for 230 performances when it premiered in New York in 1993.
“If you’re going to write a satire about the movie business at this very late date, it had better be very, very funny. In the case of FOUR DOGS AND A BONE … that criterion is most abundantly met.” (NY Times)

The concept of a 10 minute play festival was introduced to the LLT Board by Mark Boyer in March of 2019 and unanimously approved. In early 2020 an email appeal was made to playwrights and 36 plays were submitted by 18 individuals. From these, a review committee ranked the plays using a scoring system and the eight best were selected for the Festival, originally scheduled for August 2020. COVID intervened and the festival was held August 4-7, 2022. Directors applied and were selected and auditions were held on June 2 and 3 and the plays were cast!
Here's the play lineup!

Enrique de Allende is one of the most extraordinary singers to grace stages from Budapest to Vallarta. He has played to sold out audiences at Lunario, one of Mexico City’s more prestigious stages, and continued with Vibrato Grill in Los Angeles to international settings in Budapest, Munich, Slovakia and venues across Europe.
World-famous music producer, David Foster, who has trained and produced artists such as Josh Groban and Celine Dion, says this: “The interpretations of Enrique de Allende bristle your skin. It is an experience that penetrates your ears and connects you with universal contemporary music, with a romantic, classical style, but with a youthful touch. It’s the new Julio Iglesias, with a sweet and powerful voice.”
Enrique has a repertoire of classics and popular songs in English, Spanish and Italian. As a versatile artist, he interprets a wide range of music from current Pop, to classic Operatic, to Big Band, to Traditional Mexican Romantic and Mariachi favorites. His song stylings are romantic blends of Andrea Bocelli and Michael Bublé.
Born in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, Enrique has been singing and performing from an early age. His extraordinary vocals and heartfelt performances continue to garner fans across the globe. He went on to study with the renowned Seth Riggs and Erik Vitro and is proud of his work with musician/director David Foster.
Local music enthusiasts won’t want to miss his fabulous performance, as he plans for a fall performance at Carnegie Hall and his return trip to Europe.
