GENEROUSLY UNDERWRITTEN BY SUSIE PATCH, IN HONOR OF HER LATE HUSBAND, GLENN
In George Oppenheimer’s words: “As always with Mr. Albee there is a theme beneath the surface, in this case the corruption of money and the rottenness of this bigoted exurbia where conformity to its illiberal standards and its hypocritical show of respectability is all that counts." A Broadway success, this brilliant, biting play blends humor, irony and suspense in its scathing examinations of contemporary suburban mores.

GENEROUSLY UNDERWRITTEN BY ANONYMOUS DONORS, IN MEMORY OF ANA MARIA CARTIER OF MENDOZA, ARGENTINA
Beautifully drawn characters are called to action during Argentina's tragic era of the Desaparecidos (Disappeared). A timely reminder of democracy at risk, the play's undertones reveal the need for awareness during political upheaval.
It is set in the 1970s, in the early years of Argentina's Dirty War against its own citizens. Tens of thousands of leftists, and anyone even casually associated with them, were "disappeared." The human cost of these actions drove mothers and grandmothers to the streets to protest weekly, demanding the release of their loved ones. A painfully high number of them were never reunited. The women became known as Las Madres.

GENEROUSLY UNDERWRITTEN BY COLLETTE CLAVADETSCHER, IN HONOR OF FRIENDS WHO HAVE PASSED AWAY
The Myth of Serendipity: Mining the comedy of missed connections. A charming, intimate meditation on the power of chance and how we might be closer to each other than we’ll ever know.
We want to believe that serendipity brings us together, but is that just a myth? Mining the comedy of missed connections, This Random World asks the serious question of how often we travel parallel paths through the world without noticing. From an ailing woman who plans one final trip, to her daughter planning one great escape and her son falling prey to a prank gone wrong, this funny, intimate, and heartbreaking play explores the lives that may be happening just out of reach of our own.
